Baby J Pictures

I can't believe how big she's getting!

At her 4 month appt she was 14 lbs, 9 1/2 oz and 24 inches long. She's been sleeping through the night for about a month, but I found out that I was a bad Mommy and should have stopped the 10:30 feeding a while ago. Oh, well. I just wanted one more feeding so she'd make it through the night. Maybe that's why she's such a chunk :)

We just bought her an exersaucer and a johnny jump up. She loves them because she can stand in them, but that's the extent of what she can do in them.

Baby J is ready for our early morning run.

She's become such a cuddler, even with her lovies.

She's so cute when she's sleeping!

Showing off one of her new outfits from Uncle P and Aunt S. How did she get to be such a chunk! Remember how skinny she was?

Holding Hands with Cousin T.

Hanging out with Uncle R and Uncle C.

Mmmmmmm! My fist tastes good! Baby J's having a finger sandwich (as Daddy calls it!)

Meeting Great-Grandma MJ for the first time.

It's been too long

Wow! I hadn't realized how long it had been since I posted last on here.

Here's the skinny on the job and house.

We have an accepted offer on the house we want and it's now officially in escrow. Here are some pics of it.

Here's the front of it. It's almost at the bottom of cul-de-sac. All the houses have young kids. We knew we wanted to be in this neighborhood when the neighbor who drives a harley shut off the engine at the top of the hill and rolled it down so as not to wake any of the little kids.

Here's the kitchen. It has about 2 to 3 more times the storage as in our current house.

Here's from the kitchen looking into the family room.

Here's the living room. I love the floors!!!

Here are two pictures of the backyard. It's small, but they are building a park right behind our house, so we'll put a gate in the back and we'll have access to the park very easily.

Now all we have to do is sell our house. I'm freaking out because we haven't had any showings the last two days. Before that there was atleast one everyday. We aren't closing on our new house until the end of July, so we have time, but it's scary.

Now, the job stuff is this. I am quitting teaching and going to do some contract work for the department of Education. I'm going to be doing audits on districts' use of their federal funding. I'll be making at least what I made teaching and only have to be outside the home at most 5 days a month. It's scary to leave my guarenteed job, but I think it'll end up being what's best for our family. I'm nervous and excited. However, I can't officially quit my old job until after we close on the house. Uggghhh! I so want to tell them where to stick it!

Thank goodness I'm not going back to my school. All of my friends are leaving, plus they gave away my classroom and moved me to an all English position. None of which they ever bothered to communicate with me. Nice huh? A bunch of chicken shit cowards. Oh well!!!! I haven't signed a contract for my new job, but it's supposed to be happening soon. We'll see!

I better go feed the squirt! I'll be back with a Jana update!
