Quick update, then tagging

I've been away a long time. I have been super busy. I started my contract on November 26th and have been working 40+ hours a week, plus staying home with the girls, which means I'm working before they're awake and after they go to bed. It's been a long few weeks.

I'm doing okay. Thanks for those of you who have been worrying/commiserating with me.

Christmas Tag

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper, but when I run out of time I use gift bags (I know, not very environmentally friendly)

2. Real tree or artificial? Real tree, always!

3. When do you put up the tree? weekend after Thanksgiving if we can

4. When do you take the tree down? around New Years/before J goes back to work

5. Do you like eggnog? not a big fan!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? my computer last year

7. Do you have a nativity scene? nope

8. Hardest person to buy for? Jeremy - everything he wants is way too expensive

9. Easiest person to buy for? My parents - what do I get the people that have everything? Pictures of my kids! LOL.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? A furry bathrobe - it still has the tags on it and I have no idea what to do with it.

11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Both, mail to the people who would like them and email those who would don't care either way.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? A Christmas Story

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Last minute!?!?!?! I'm terrible!

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Nope, I try to return as much as possible if it's that bad.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Turkey and J's peppermint bark (dark chocolate, white chocolate and peppermint candies - yummy!)

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Colored lights on the tree, but white on the mantle with the garland

17. Favorite Christmas song? What Child is This

18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home? Stay home now!

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? I've read the Night Before Christmas every night for three weeks, I better!

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star- we had to buy a new one this year.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning!

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The debate of Christmas vs. Holiday tree in public. Give it a rest!

23. What I love most about Christmas? Getting together with family and now trying to make things special for the girls.
